Joidart

Barcelona - Art-led contemporary jewellery

Joidart is a Barcelona-based jewellery company started in 1981 by Jaume Julià. Julià turned a small gold and silversmith's workshop near the Costa Brava into a contemporary jewellery house with art at its centre. Working with designers from Barcelona's Escola Massana, the brand built a language of aesthetic purity, with collections that interpret Joan Miró and Antoni Gaudí. Now led by Jaume's daughters, Cristina and Mariona, Joidart still makes its pieces slowly and in short runs from its own workshop, a family house carrying its founder's spirit forward.
